Having been lucky enough to inherit my great uncle's Pentax at an early age I went on to win several competitions at school. Having spent many years in Norfolk and always taking the first opportunity to go for walks on the beach I has started to develop a portfolio of pictures that were receiving very positive comments from friend and family. I then decided to have my first exhibition in 2003 in Brancaster Staithe: PURE SHORES with the second exhibition of completely new material in 2004 called SAND. Both events were very well received with barely 2 minutes without a visitor! All pictures were for sale with a limited edition of 25 prints. I have lived in North Norfolk for many |

years and recently moved to Stamford in Lincolnshire, still an easy reach to the coast. During my time in Norfolk I grew to love the ever changing weather systems, shapes in the sand and the huge variety of subject matter. In my work I look to explore unusual perspectives and compositions, experimenting with different textures to |

create a very calm and welcoming picture. I look to offer a fresh and original perspective of the North Norfolk area to meet a wide variety of different tastes. My preferred location is amongst the boats and changing sand patterns of the creak at Brancaster Staithe where one day will be dramatically different from the next. |
